GLEN VALE LONG STAY CAR PARK is a Bespoke Local Family Run Business that was Established in 1996. Our Business Model is Solely Based on Providing Private Car Parking to Long Stay Visitors who are Staying at Holiday Cottages or B & B Properties within the Village of Staithes.
We Only take Pre-Booked, Pre-Paid Email Bookings through this Website for Cars and Small Vans for a Minimum of 24 Hours...For Reasons of Safety and Security.
We are Not a Pay and Display Car Park and are therefore NOT to be associated with any other Pay and Display Car Park in the Village of Staithes.
We DO NOT Provide Day Permits for Day Visitors or Walking Groups
Glen Vale Car Park is Owned and Personally Managed by James and Joanna... A Guaranteed Personal Space Awaits you from the Day of You Arrive and when you Return from a Day out Exploring the Beautiful North East Coast or the surrounding Countryside.
All the information you provide to us is treated with the Strictest Confidence and will NOT be Shared with any other Third Parties.
A 24 Hour Permit is £10 per vehicle and is Valid from 12 noon on your day of arrival until 12 noon on your day of departure.
Parking Permits are Non- Refundable.
NEW!! for 2021 we have Five New Premium Off Road Extra Wide Parking Bays Just 50 Metres from the top of Staithes Bank these are Secured by Bollards and a Chain Directly Opposite our House These are specifically for Cars (No Vans) and are Charged at £15 per Bay... Turn off the main A174 road & head down to the village of Staithes. You will first see the main Council Car Park on your right hand side. Ignore this car park & carry on down Staithes Lane heading towards the Old Village. We are situated seven houses, after the main Council Car Park, on the right hand side. The road to Glen Vale Car Park leads up the side of our property. You are allowed to go down into the village for loading & unloading. The High Street has forty minutes parking restrictions in place.
When you come back out of the old village & back up the hill we are the second turn on the left hand side, just after the brow of hill. The first left goes into some new private houses; we are two houses after this. Our house, at the bottom of Glen Vale Car Park has a white conservatory, onto the side, facing the sea.
There’s also a footpath at the bottom of Glen Vale road that leads directly over the Old Stubble & down into Staithes High Street / Harbour & onto the Sea front.
